About Birsa Agricultural University
Birsa Agricultural University was established in 1981 at Sabuor district of Bhagalpur. It provides huge range of agricultural programs in UG, PG and diploma and certificate courses. Birsa Agricultural University admission procedure for the undergraduate program starts soon for new session. Students can enroll in the Bachelor of Agriculture (Honours) and Bachelor of Science program from online admission process. Birsa Agricultural University admission registration procedure is based on the merit of students and the entrance exam conducted by JCECE. Individuals who have completed their 10+2 higher education with minimum 45% aggregate marks obtained in board examinations. Reserved category students have 5% relaxation in aggregate marks. Birsa Agricultural University admission process will start soon for the January academic session. Applicants have the opportunity to take admission in postgraduate programs such as master in Agriculture, master in Science, master in Commerce and many more. Minimum qualification required for master’s degree is needed to complete their three year undergraduate degree from any recognised university with 45% minimum aggregate marks and for reserved category have 5% relaxation. Birsa Agricultural University Admission Fee Structure
Average fee structure offered by BAU for undergraduate and postgraduate programs range between INR 36,000/- to INR 60,000/- for the entire program. It also provides fee concessions for reserved category (SC/ST/Obc) candidates. The process of fee payment is only online. Applicants can pay their course fee online on official portal of university. Some additional fees, such as the Admission Fee and Examination Fee which are included in the total course fee.

Birsa Agricultural University Admission Procedure 2026-27
Follow the instructions given below for the online admission procedure. Before applying for UG or PG programs, read the prospectus carefully and fill out the form with scanned documents.
Follow the steps given below-
- Step 1. Visit the Birsa Agricultural University official website portal.
- Step 2. Click on New Registration Link, fill required details such as Aadhar number, email id and mobile number of students.
- Step 3. Make your ‘login ID’ with the help of your phone number and email address. After the creation of a login ID is successful, the university provides the “username and password” via email or SMS on RMN ( Register Mobile Numbers)
- Step 4. Log in to the official portal and fill the ‘application form’ carefully with scanned documents.
- Step 5. Upload documents such as Marksheet, Aadhar Card, Photo etc. (it should be Scanned)
- Step 6. Confirm your application process, the university will verify “uploaded documents” and information.
- Step 7. After documents verification, the payment link opens, pay the registration fee INR 300/- and course fee with the help of “online payment link” (Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI).
- Step 8. Payments successfully done, download the registration fee receipt and the acknowledgement receipt provided by university.
- Step 9. Keep your login Id (username and password ) safe. It will help you for further information related to examination notifications.
