Sikkim Skill University is a state university established in 2022. It is recognized by the University Grant Commission Act of 1956 under clause 2(f). SSU focuses on professional, academic, technical, vocational and life skill traditional and nontraditional courses. The university has 9 faculties in yoga, humanities and social science, commerce and business management, research and development, pure and applied science, vocational studies, pharmacy, life science and law. It is located in Namthang, Namthang Bazar PO Namthang Dist- South Sikkim, Sikkim, Namthang, Sikkim. SSU is recognized by BCI, AICTE, NCTE, PCI, AYUSH, CCIM, INC and WES. Sikkim Skill University admission for the UG program will begin soon for the academic session 2026. Students are invited to register for bachelor’s degree courses like Bachelor of Law (LLB), BALLB, B.VOC, BA, B.SC, Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Bachelor in Public Health, Bachelor of Pharmacy, B.TECH, BCA. including, Bachelor in Public Administration (BPA), BSW, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT), BBA, and B.COM.

bachelor degree programs are offered for the course length of 3 years and 6 semesters. Students who have completed their 12th standard examination in any stream from a recognized board can apply for admission at SSU. university will charge undergraduate course fees ranging from INR 14000/-INR 80000/-. 

Sikkim Skill University PG Admission 2026 

Sikkim Skill University admissions window has not opened yet for all the postgraduate degree courses for the academic session 2026. Students can register for PG courses such as M.COM, MBA, M.SC, MA, Master of Fine Arts(MFA), Master of Applied Psychology (MAP), Master in Literature (M.LIT), MSW, Master of Public Administration (MPA). including courses such as Master of Library & Information Sciences(M.Lis.), MCA, M.TECH, Master of Pharmacy, Master in Public Health (MPH), LLM and M.VOC. Sikkim Skill University master’s degree program for a duration of 2 years and 4 semesters.

To be eligible for admission to PG courses, students have to graduate with a bachelor’s degree with a minimum 45% marks in related disciplines from a recognized university. Sikkim Skill University PG course fee will range from INR 16000/-INR 120000/-. 

Sikkim Skill University Diploma And Certificate Course Admission 2026

Sikkim Skill University admission will start soon for the certificate and diploma courses for the academic session 2026. University offers diploma courses for the duration of 1 year(2 semesters), advanced diplomas for 2 years(4 semesters), and certificate courses for 6 months. Admission to diploma and certificate courses will require students to be 12th passed from a recognized board, and a bachelor degree with 45% mark for PG diploma program.

Students can pursue diploma courses in the field of commerce, management, hospitality and tourism, fine arts, Library & Information Sciences(D. Lis), computing and information technology, engineering and technology, etc. The diploma course fee is around INR 12000/- to INR 120000/-.

PG diploma in Hotel Management, Animation, Design, and Performance, Journalism and Mass Communication, Paramedical Science, and more. The program fee is approximately around INR 22000/- to INR 64000/-. Certificate courses if offered in faculties of engineering & technology and paramedical science. course will range from INR 18000- INR 20000/-.
