About Bilaspur University

Bilaspur University was established in June 2012. It offers a wide range of diploma courses, certificate courses, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. BU is approved by NAAC A+ and AICTE, UGC, etc. objective to develop innovative and professional instructional programmes to cater to the needs of students of the State of Chhattisgarh. The University plans to develop a strategy for enhancing the range of pedagogic approaches and the use of technology. Aim to provide UG and PG courses with an affordable and moderate fee structure for eligible students as compared to their regular universities.

Bilaspur University Admission Programmes List 2026-27

Bilaspur University offers a wide range of UG and PG courses, which are recognised and accredited by the National Assessments and Accreditation Council (NAAC A+) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Eligible applicants can pursue UG and PG programmes with specializations.

• Undergraduate Programmes- Students have several options to select an undergraduate program with specializations. After successfully passing class 12th with minimum aggregate marks, the university offers these programs with a minimum fee structure, such as BCom, BSc, Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM), and BSc in Health Management. The duration of the program is three years, split into six semesters.
• Postgraduate Programmes- BU offers broad range of master degree programmes with specializations. Individuals can pursue master degree after completion of a three year undergraduate program from any recognized university. The postgraduate program minimum duration is two years, split into four semesters. PG programmes are Master in Science and Master of Commerce with specializations.  

Bilaspur University Admission 2026-27 For UG Program

Bilaspur University admission registration process will starts soon for the 2026 academic year. Individuals can apply through the official website of the university. Bilaspur University admission registration Fee INR 500/- payable one time only. The procedure is fully online, no need to visit the university campus. Students who are interested in getting admission in a UG course have to fulfil the eligibility criteria. Need to pass senior secondary examination (10+2) from any recognised board with minimum 50% aggregate marks. Reserved category candidates have 5% relaxation in aggregate marks.

Bilaspur University Admission 2026-27 For PG Program

Bilaspur University admission process for the postgrduate programs will start soon for the January 2026 academic session. Admission procedure based on the merit of students and a processing fee of INR 800/- payable on time only. They have to pass their bachelor’s degree from any recognized university. Minimum 50% aggregate marks required for general category students. For reserved category students (SC,ST,OBc,EWS), BU provides 5% relaxation in aggregate marks. Admission procedure is fully online, individuals can apply through university web portal with required documents

Bilaspur University UG and PG Programmes Fee Structure

Bilaspur university is known for its best quality of education with minimum and affordable fee structure. It provides an affordable fee structure for UG and PG courses. Applicants can pay their program fee with the help of online payment link provided by university. Average fee structure ranges between INR  5000/- to INR 15,000/- for the entire program. It also provides concession in program fee for reserved category students.

Before filling the application form, read the instructions and procedure. Students can fill the application form online at their own pace. Uploaded documents should be scanned. 

Steps given below for the admission process- 

• Step 1. Visit the Bilaspur University website portal. (Atal Bihari Vajpayee Vishwavidyalaya)
• Step 2. Click on New-Registration Link, fill required information such as Aadhar number, email id and contact number of applicants. 
• Step 3. Create your login Id with the help of email id and mobile number. After creation of login id, university provides username and password via SMS or email address. 
• Step 4. Login on official portal and fill application form carefully with scanned documents. 
• Step 5. Upload documents such as Marksheet, Aadhar Card, Photo etc. (it should be Scanned) 
• Step 6. Confirm your application process, university will verify uploaded documents and information. 
• Step 7. After documents verification, payment link opens, pay registration fee and program fee with the help of online payment link (Debit Card,Credit Card, UPI). 
• Step 8. Payments successfully done, download the receipt and acknowledgement slip provided by university.
