Dronacharya Government College was established in 1951 at its present location of Gurugram. It is a public institution affiliated with Gurugram University. It is one of the biggest Government colleges in Haryana. College is accredited by the NAAC grade and approved by UGC and AICTE. It is known for its experienced faculty and focus on holistic development through its academics and extracurricular activities. University has well equipped laboratories, Computer labs, a library, an auditorium, sports facilities, etc. It came under government control in 1980.

Dronacharya Government College admission will begin soon for the undergraduate program for the academic session 2026. Those who are interested are advised to apply online from its official website. UG programmes are of 3 years course duration. University offers various courses such as B.A, B.B.A, BCA  B.Com, B.Sc, etc. These courses are offered with multiple disciplines. Admissions are merit based and three phases of counselling. First two rounds of counselling is based on merit and third counselling is physical counselling.

Interested students can apply for admission by filling an application form available online at its official website. The course duration of PG Programmes is 2 years. Under its PG Programmes, University offers various courses such as M.A., M.Com, M.Sc., Master’s in Physical Education & Sports, with various specialisations.

Eligibility criteria for PG Programmes: Desired students should have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university board. They should have 55% marks in their last qualifying examination. For admission in some courses, University asks for a degree in a specific course.
