SHUATS admission process will start soon for the academic session 2026. It offers several UG and PG courses in regular mode. Admission to many UG and PG programmes is done under the SHUATS Online Entrance Test.  Candidates are requested to visit the official website for further notifications regarding admission. The university conducts offline counseling after the declaration of results to allocate seats. Applicants can apply online through their official site by paying the registration fee of INR 5,000, which is charged at the time of admission. 

For the UG courses, candidates generally need to have completed their 10+2, and for the PG courses, they have to hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. Candidates are required to visit the official site of the university and carefully read the guidelines.

Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences (SHUATS) was established in the year 1910. The university is located in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. SHUATS is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an A grade.

SHUATS Undergraduate Admission 2026-27 

SHUATS admission for the undergraduate program will start soon for the academic session 2026-27. The university provides several UG courses mainly in agriculture, pharmacy, and nursing, including B.Sc in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, B.Tech in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, B.Sc in Nursing, BCA, BBA in Agri Business Management and many more. Students can not take direct admission based on merit, they must have to go through the SHUATS Online Entrance Test. 

For pursuing undergraduate (UG) programmes, students need to complete their 10+2 (higher secondary education) or equivalent examination from a recognized board. Securing a minimum passing score of 50% is also mandatory for admission. SHUATS also give 5% relaxation on marks to the SC/ST/PwD candidates.

SHUATS Postgraduate Admission 2026-27 

SHUATS admission registration portal for PG courses will start soon for the 2026- 27 academic year. Applicants can apply for M.Sc. in Horticulture, Agriculture, Soil Science, Fruit Science, M.Com, M.Tech in Processing and Food Engineering, Agricultural and Water Management, Biotechnology, MBA in Agribusiness, and more. Applicants who have completed their graduation from a UGC approved university with 50% marks in a relevant field can apply for PG courses. Appearing for the SHUATS Online Entrance Test is compulsory for PG programmes. However, for some courses, you can take direct admission based on offline counselling. 

SHUATS Admission 2026-27 Fees Structure

SHUATS offer courses in a higher fee range the fee varies according to the programme level and specialization. UG courses like B.Sc, B.Tech,and BBA courses fee ranges between INR 42,000 to INR 56,000 per semester. SHUATS Admission Procedure 2026-27 

SHUATS admission registrations will start soon for the academic year 2026- 27. Candidates can take admission based on their score of SHUATS Online Entrance Test and Merit-Based Offline Counselling, while for some courses, an entrance exam. • Step 1: Visit Website: Check the official admission portal of SHUATS (www.shuats.org/appform/login.aspx) 
• Step 2: Registration:  Register at the admission portal and enter your name, mail ID and mobile number 
• Step 3: Select the programme or specialization you are interested in 
• Step 4: Log In: Log in with your credentials 
• Step 5: Application Form: Complete the online application form by providing all required information including personal details and educational details 
• Step 6: Upload Documents: Submit the scanned copies of necessary documents such as scanned signature, certificates and photographs 
• Step 7: Submission: After carefully reviewing the documents & details, submit the application form 
• Step 8: Pay Fee: Pay the one-time non-refundable registration fee of INR 5,000 through their official website using the payment gateway 
• Step 9: Merit List: The university publishes the merit list on the basis of obtaining scores in entrance exams. 
• Step 10: Counselling Session: After all procedures, the university will call you for offline counselling and seat allotment

Applying for the scholarship at SHUATS, applicants need to submit the handwritten application along with their parents’ income certificate and the mark sheet of the last semester. The maximum monthly income of UG/ PG students is INR 1,000, while the Ph.D candidates earn INR 1,500 per month.
