Kashmir University Admission to UG courses will be solely based on CUET and other entrance examinations like JEE mains for B.Tech. Candidates must ensure that they have read and have in mind about criteria needed, qualifications and others. Some courses offer direct admission without any entrance exams. For direct admission you need certification of Higher Secondary Grade. This qualification should be from a recognised board like CBSE or J&K Board. There is a boundation of 55% for general category students, while relaxation of 5% is available for scheduled caste or scheduled tribe or reserve candidates.

Kashmir University admission for the PG courses will start soon for the academic session 2026. Some popular PG courses available at Kashmir University are M.Tech, M.Pharma, LLM, MBA, MCA, are many more. You are advised to stick to necessary parameters. MBA, M.Pharma, and M.Tech require CMAT, GPAT and GATE qualifications respectively. Those who will get positive or satisfactory marks or performance will be selected for the course. Eligibility Criteria For Kashmir University Admission

There are so many UG and PG courses available that allow admission through open eligibility, meaning if candidates have passed the qualifying exams necessary for their desired course, they can apply for admission.  While some programs like MBA, B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Pharma, M.P.Ed requirean entrance examination in order to get admission which is followed by merit. Here are criteria necessary to get yourself admitted. 

• Higher Secondary: If a candidate has passed 10+2 examinations. Passing should be from a recognized board. This is for UG courses 
• Bachelor’s: You need an approved university degree having minimum required marks 
• Subject: A Specific subject is required to have in qualifying examination for opting specific courses. 
• Marks: The Aggregate necessary marks is totally on course selection. Which is basically between 45% to 55% and a relaxation of 5% will be available for SC/ST candidates. 
• Entrance: Even after meeting above mentioned criteria, Entrance Exams for some courses are important.

Kashmir University has also informed that there will not be any additional charges with tuition fee, except examination, registration and eligibility fee. Those students who wanna seek admission in B.Sc Nursing will have to pay an amount for clinical training. This amount will be Rs. 5000 per annum. Kashmir University Admission Entrance Exam
