About Chandigarh University

Chandigarh University (CU) was established in 2012 and offers its students a unique education of professional and academic excellence. It has been accredited with the prestigious A+ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It provides a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate and diploma courses. Eligible candidates can enroll in their prestigious program with minimum fee range between INR 50,000/- to INR 3,50,000/- for entire programs.

Programmes Offered By Chandigarh University 

CU offers a wide variety of UG and PG courses. Each program has different specializations in Business, finance, computer applications, science, and many more. Programmes are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and the University Grant Commission (UGC-AICTE).  

• Undergraduate Programmes: UG courses with different specializations in Engineering, Biotechnology, Environmental Science, Human Resources, Business Development, and many more offered by CU at low cost of fee. Students have various options to choose Ug programs as per their interest. It takes minimum of three-years to complete, divided into six semesters. Senior secondary passed candidates can appear for bachelor’s degrees. List of undergraduate programmes is BSc, BCom, BA, BE, BCA, BBA, BDS, etc. 
• Postgraduate Programmes: Master degree in various specializations such as Computer application, Business Administration, Engineering, Technology, Humanities etc. Some popular PG courses are MBA, MSc, MCom, ME, MCA and many more. Students have many options to select master degree after successfully completing a bachelor degree from any recognized university. Duration of postgraduate course is two years and maximum duration is four years which is split into four-semesters.

After successfully completing senior secondary education from any recognised board, applicants can enroll in bachelor degree in Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, etc. from Chandigarh University. Chandigarh University admission registration process starts soon for the January academic session. Interested students can apply through official website of CU with a processing fee of INR 1200/- payable one time only. The admission process based on marks obtained in CUET exam and 50% to 55% aggregate marks obtained in the board examination. 5% relaxation in aggregate marks available for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates.

Chandigarh University Admission 2026 For Postgraduate Program 

Seeking admission to pursue Master degree in computer application, technology, business administration, humanities and many more. Chandigarh University admission for the postgraduate program will start soon. Minimum qualification required for the postgraduate program is applicants have to pass bachelors degree from any recognised university with minimum of 55% aggregate marks from any stream (Science/Commerce/Arts). CU provides relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks for reserved category candidates (SC,ST,OBc and EWS).

Chandigarh University’s admission process is fully online. Applicants can apply through the CU official website with the necessary documents. Before applying for undergraduate or post-graduate programmes, you must read the admission criteria and university prospectus. Check the eligibility criteria and fill out the application form carefully. 

Instructions for filling the application form online- 

• Step 1. Search for the Official website of CUCET https://cucet.cuchd.in and Register for Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) with valid email ID, Aadhar number, and phone number. 
• Step 2. Generate username and password for login on the official page to open the application form. After login on CUCET, candidates has to register by filling in details such as Name, Email, City and phone number. 
• Step 3. Fill the application form with required information and valid qualification documents such as Marksheet, Aadhar card, Qualification Certificates etc. 
• Step 4. Upload all required (scanned) documents on application form carefully. Pay the application fee and registration fee online via net banking, Debit card, credit card etc. 
• Step 5. After successful payments, download course fee receipt and confirmation letter offered by Chandigarh University.
