About Indian College of Arts & Draftsmanship
Indian College of Arts and Draftsmanship was established in 1983 in West Bengal. It was founded by the famous photographer, Lt. Monmathanath Chakraborty. In 2004, the college was enrolled under U.G.C Act Section 2 (f) and Section 12 (b). It is affiliated to Rabindra Bharati University. It is a Public institution that offers industry-aligned programmes to shape professionals in art and offers admissions only in the field of Arts. Currently, the chairman of the College is Dr. Prachu Gopal Roy.

Indian College of Arts & Draftsmanship admission window has not opened yet for the UG Programmes for the academic session 2026. Those who are interested can apply online through official website. They must fulfill all eligibility requirements. UG Programmes offered by Indian Art of College have a course duration of 4 years. College offers only Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A) in Painting, Applied Arts, Sculpture and Graphics (Print Making). Students have to appear for admission tests conducted by College in offline mode. Admission test is compulsory for admissions. Then University will announce merit list on the basis of admission test. Students clearing merit need to pay fees before the given deadline.

Eligibility Criteria For Indian College of Arts & Draftsmanship Admission 2026
Eligibility Criteria as set by College is mandatory to apply here. Application forms of those who are not fulfilling eligibility will not be considered valid and they won’t be able to proceed further with the admission procedure.
Eligibility: Only those students who have passed their Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent with special aptitude in concerned subjects are eligible to apply.
Reservation of Seats: Reservation of Seats for the reserved categories of ST/SC/OBCA/OBCB/EWS/PWD will be as per the West Bengal Higher Educational Institutions (Reservation in Admission) Rules, 2013. Reserved category students from any state other than West Bengal will be considered Unreserved.

Indian College of Arts & Draftsmanship Admission Procedure 2026
College offers admission in day and evening section. Interested students first have to choose in which section they want admission in. Then they have to check eligibility first. If they are found eligible, then they can go ahead with admission procedure. A student can apply only for admission in up to 2 courses, including day and evening sections.
- Step 1: Go to official website of University and apply from there, www.indianartcollege.com/. First, they have to verify their email address.
- Step 2: After successfully completing E-mail verification, students have to fill registration form with only correct and necessary details.
- Step 3: Then they have to upload required documents. They will also need to upload scanned photos and signatures.
- Step 4: Then, students are required to check their filled application form once again as after submitting it, there will be no correction.
- Step 5: Pay fees as applicable and submit your form. Take print out of filled application form bearing the AIN (Application Identification Number).
