Sri Ramachandra University admission process will start soon for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in health sciences for the session 2026-27. Students can fill out the online application form. The university offers 150+ courses under 12 different departments. Eligibility criteria depend on the course; most UG courses require students to have passed 12th grade with the required subjects, and PG courses require a relevant bachelor’s degree.  While the admissions are based on merit and entrance tests. 

The application fee ranges from INR 1,000 to INR 3,000. The course fee varies according to the program, and the MBBS fee is around INR 25 lakh per year. Applicants can apply online through the university’s official website and submit the application form and supporting documents.

About Sri Ramachandra University 

Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER), formerly known as Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute. It is a private university located in Chennai, India and it is  also a non-profit university. The university provides quality education while maintaining its modern campus. SRIHER was established in 1985 and declared a deemed university by the Government of India in September 1994. In August 2018, the Ministry of Human Resource Development changed its official name to Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research. SRIHER is recognized by the UGC and has an accreditation of NAAC.

Sri Ramachandra University UG Admission 2026- 27 

Sri Ramachandra University admission process has not started yet for the  for the 2026- 27 session. Candidates are required to fill out the online application form before the final date. SRIHER offers a wide range of UG courses in the disciplines of Engineering, Pharmacy, Management Science, Nursing, Health Science, etc. Courses at the UG level include B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering- Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, B.Pharmacy, B.Sc, Nursing, Care Management, B.Com, BBA and many more.

To be eligible for UG courses at SRIHER, Students need to complete their higher secondary education (10+2) from a state board. Also, it is mandatory to obtain a minimum of 60% aggregate marks inthe  Science stream. Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the interview or can seek admission after passing the SRIHER entrance exam.

Sri Ramachandra University PG Admission 2026- 27 

Sri Ramachandra University admission process for the PG courses will start soon for the academic session 2026- 27. The university offers 2-year PG courses which generally consist of 4 semesters. Candidates can apply for courses like M.Sc. Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Medical Bioinformatics and more. 

Applicants who have successfully completed their graduation in a relevant field with 55% to 60% are eligible to apply for the SRIHER PG courses. SRIHER conducts its own entrance test to take admission at the PG level. Candidates are required to pass the entrance test and clear the interview round. 

Sri Ramachandra University Admission Fee Structure 2026 

Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research is a private university, where the university’s fee structure is quite expensive. tuition fees of B.Tech programmes started between INR 2,00,000 per year with some additional charges of INR 10,000. B.Sc programmes fee starters from INR 75,000 per year.  For the PG courses, candidates have to pay a one-time fee of INR 6,000 and the tuition fee of INR 75,000.

Sri Ramachandra University admissions for UG & PG courses will start soon. Candidates can apply for any programme through their respective admission portal. The university selects candidates on the basis of their obtaining score in the entrance examination.

• Step 2: Registration:  Register with your name, mobile number and email address. 
• Step 3: Select your domain,category and course that you want to pursue from the university. 
• Step 4: Log In: Enter your email address and password to log- in into the portal 
• Step 5: Application Form: Fill out the available online application form by filling your personal information and academic details 
• Step 6: Documentation: Upload your documents in scanned format with scanned signature and photographs 
• Step 7: Review: Before submitting the application form, carefully  check all the details and submit for further processing 
• Step 8: Fee Payment: Pay the register fee, using the given method of payment such as UPI, NetBanking or Debit/Credit Card 
• Step 9: Verification: After verifying your details and documents the university will send you a confirmation mail or an acknowledgement letter.

Ramachandra Entrance Exam 2026-27

Sri Ramachandra  University conducts entrance exams for its various UG, PG, and other courses. Applying students need to fill out the online application form available on the official portal. The exam evaluates students’ performance in basic subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. The content and questions of the entrance exam is simple, which are based on the 11th and 12th grade syllabus. After the entrance exam, Sri Ramachandra University prepares a merit list based on students’ scores. Eligible students will be notified of counseling sessions and admission to their preferred course.
