Osmania University admission process will start soon for the academic year 2026. University application form is uploaded on the admission portal of the university. Students can register to various programmes offered at undergraduate, postgraduate, certificate, diploma and pHd level. University will charge an application fee of INR 400-800*/-. Admission will be merit-based, CPGET and the score of the national entrance examination for specific programs. All students are advised to fill up the application form before the given deadline. About Osmania University 

Osmania University is the 7th-oldest university in India, established in 1917. It is accredited by NAAC with an A++ grade. Being the 3rd oldest university in South India, it is an autonomous institute approved by the University Grants Commission. Osmania University has 12 faculties and 56 departments, offering 80 undergraduate programs and 65 postgraduate programs. It also offers 21 diploma programs, 15 certificate courses and 62 PhD programs. Osmania University is a 13000-acre campus, which comprises 8 college campuses, 4 constituent colleges, 5 district PG colleges, 16 research centers, and 9 academic centres. Osmania University UG Admission 2026

Osmania University admission will begin soon for the undergraduate program 2026. Registration is open for all undergraduate programs and various specializations. Such as BA, BCOM, B.SC, BBA, BCA, Bachelor in Fashion Technology, B.ED, LLB, B.E/B.Tech, BHM&CT, B.PHARMACY, and B.VOC. All these courses are available in Osmania University constituent colleges and affiliating colleges. The Bachelor’s degree program at OU is available for a duration of 3 years, split into six semesters.

Students have to pass a 10+2 examination with a minimum mark of 50% in any stream. Admission will be merit-based. However, selection for B.Pharma / BE/ BTECH will be through TS EAMCET and AP ECET scores. Admission to the B.ED program will be based on the TS EDCET examination and LAWCET for all law programs. 

Osmania University PG Admission 2026

Osmania University admission will start soon for the postgraduate programs for the academic session 2026. Students are invited to apply to programs such as the master of Arts, MAJMC, M.Lib.I.Sc, Master of Social Work, M.COM, M.SC, M.ED, MBA, ME/M.Tech, M.Pharmacy, LLM, and M.P.Ed. The university offers a master’s degree program for the period of 2 years and four semesters.

To be eligible for admission to PG courses at OU, students have to possess a bachelor degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 45% to 50% mark in qualifying examination. Admission will be merit-based and CPGET for most of the programs. However, selection for the MBA program will be through CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT scores, and for MCA program it will be through TS ICET exam. For M.TECH valid GATE score will be accepted and LAWCET for LLM program.

It is mandatory for students to read the admission guidelines and all the instructions before filling the application form. 

• Step 1: Register with username, password, email ID and mobile number. 
• Step 2: After creating login credentials, login using email and password. 
• Step 3: Fill up all personal and educational details.
• Step 4: Proceed for payment of the processing fee. 
• Step 5: Upload all original certificates after scanning them. 
• Step 6: The university will conduct preliminary online verification of all the certificates.
• Step 7: Select your desired course/program, and college. 
• Step 8: Seta will be allotted as per qualification in entrance examination. 
• Step 9: Pay fee and download joining report sent by the university. 
• Step 10: Now visit the allotted university for document verification, along with a fee paid challan, and joining report. 
• Step 11: After all documents are verified, an allotment letter will be sent to you by the college.
