Kolhan University is also called Chaibasa University. It is a public university established in 2009. Located in Chaibasa, Jharkhand, it is approved by the University Grants Commission. The university is also recognized and has the approval of AICTE, NCTE, and BCI for many of its undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs. Kolhan University also has a membership of the Association of Indian Universities and is accredited by NAAC with a C grade. Kolhan University UG Admission 2026 

Kolhan University admission process for the undergraduate program will begin soon for the academic session 2026. Interested students can fill up an online application for desired courses before the deadline. UG programs available are Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Computer Applications, Bachelor of Commerce, and BE/B.TECH, BDA, BPED, B.ED, BJMC, LLB, and B.VOC. As per the NEP 2020 policy, all UG programs will be offered for 3 to 4 years and 6 to 8 semesters.

Students who are applying for admission must have completed their 10+2 examination with a minimum 45% to 50% marks with any stream. Admission will be merit-based and CUET for most courses. However, programs like BDS will require a NEET UG score, and for BE/BTECH, qualifying marks of JEE MAIN and JEECE. 

Kolhan University PG Admission 2026

Kolhan University admission registration will start soon for all postgraduate programs for the session 2026. Students can apply to programs like master of Science, master of Arts, master of Commerce, MBA, and MLib.Sc, LLM, and MDS. All master’s degree programs are offered for 2 years and 4 semesters, except for the MDS program, which runs for 3 years and 6 semesters. 

Students desiring to get admission to Kolhan University for a postgraduate program must complete their bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 45% to 50% mark in a related discipline from a recognized university/institution. To get admission to an MBA program, a valid score of CAT/CMAT, XAT, ATMA, MAT/Karnataka PGCET is required and NEET MDS for MDS program. Otherwise, all other programs will be based on merit marks in the qualifying examination.

• Step 2: Create an account by registering with email ID, phone number, username and password. 
• Step 3: Upload your photograph and signature to complete the process.
• Step 4: Now login using username and password. 
• Step 5: Fill out personal details, like address and identity proof, educational qualifications and select desired progrm.
• Step 6: Upload relevant documents after scanning them.
• Step 7: Preview all the information you have put in.
• Step 8: Next proceed for the payment of the application form.
