Programmes Offered By Bangalore University

A broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by Bangalore University with flexibility. All programs are recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation  Council (NAAC A+) and approved by the University Grant Commission (UGC). Applicants have the option to choose UG and PG programs with specialization at a minimum fee. 

• Undergraduate programmes- Students who want to continue their higher studies after successful completion of secondary education (12th). They can apply for UG programmes such as Bachelor in Science, Arts, Business administration, Humanity, Human resource and Commerce. Duration of the program is three to four years which is divided into four six semesters. Some of the programs are BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, BLIS etc. 
• Postgraduate programmes- It provides a wide range of PG programs with several specializations in Business Administration, Economics, Financial Management, History and many more. Students have many options to choose a PG program and build their career in various sectors. It takes a minimum two years to complete which is split into four semesters. Some of the programs are MCom, MSc, MA etc. 

Bangalore University Undergraduate Admission 2026-27

Bangalore University admission process will start soon for the Undergraduate program for the January academic session. They can register online on the Bangalore University official website. Eligibility for admission based on marks obtained in higher secondary education. Apply with valid documents and detailed information of the candidate.

• Undergraduate Eligibility: To get admission in UG program (BA,BSc,BCom)  you have to pass class 12th with Science, Commerce, arts stream from any recognised board. Intermediate passed with minimum 50% aggregate marks obtained in examination. For reserved category (SC,ST,Obc,PWd) applicants have 5% relaxation in aggregate marks offered by Bangalore University. Admission procedure based on merit, no need to give any entrance exam. 

Bangalore University Postgraduate Admission 2026-27

Bangalore University admission portal will start soon for the PG program in the January academic session. Students can get admission online through the official portal of Bangalore University. Bring all necessary documents at the time of admission.  

• Postgraduate Eligibility: After completion of an undergraduate degree from any recognized university with 50% aggregate marks can apply for postgraduate programmes in BU. The reserved category has a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks. Bachelor’s degree holders from any faculty (science, arts, commerce) are eligible for admission in PG programs. 

Bangalore University Admission Fee Structure

Affordable and Moderate fee structure designed by Bangalore University for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Applicants can pay their program fee online with the help of online payment methods (UPI, Debit Card, Credit Card). Only online fees are acceptable. Concession in the total program fee offers for reserved category applicants.

Bangalore University Admission Procedure 2026-27

Follow the instructions for filing the application form. The admission procedure is fully online and requires with necessary documents. Pay the application fee and registration online after document verification.

Follow the steps- 

• Step 1. Visit the official page of Bangalore University. 
• Step 2. Search for a program that you want to apply for (undergraduate and postgraduate) 
• Step 3. Click on New Registration Link and fill the registration form with valid information (email id or mobile number) 
• Step 4. After successful registration, the university will provide login ID via email or registered mobile number (username and password) 
• Step 5. Login on the students portal with your Username and Password provided by the university. (keep your login Id safe)
• Step 5. After login on the students portal, fill the application form with valid qualification documents (aadhar card, marksheet, photo etc.). 
• Step 6. Upload all the scanned documents in application form carefully. 
• Step 7. Submit your application form. The university will verify uploaded documents and details. 
• Step 8. After successful document verification, you will be able to pay the application fee and program fee online (UPI, Debit card, Credit Card, etc.) 
• Step 9. Confirm admission and download the acknowledgement receipt and program fee receipt provided by the university.
