NIU Admission 2026 | UG, PG, Eligibility Criteria, Fees Structure

NIU Admission will start soon for the academic session 2026 under various UG and PG Courses. Admissions in these courses are done on both a merit basis and entrance exam. The university also accepts national-level exam scores to select students. Apart from this, the eligibility criteria as decided by University is another important element for admission here. Basic eligibility includes 10+2 passed for UG admissions and having Bachelor’s degree for PG admissions.

Interested students can apply through official website of the University. They also have to pay compulsory application fee of INR 1100, which is non-refundable and a one-time payment. Average fees for programmes ranges from INR 2 lacs to INR 4 lacs. Scholarships are also provided here. All the programmes offered are approved by UGC and AICTE.

Noida International University (NIU) was established under U.P Legislature Act No. of 2010 and recognised by section 2(f) of UGC Act 1956. This University is sponsored by Maruti Educational Trust. NIU UG Program Admission 2026

NIU admission will begin soon for the academic session 2026 for a wide range of programmes. Those who desire to apply here have to meet University eligibility requirements as well. Then they can apply through its official website. They have to pay a fixed amount as application fee while submitting their application/admission form, which is necessary and non refundable. UG Programmes have generally 3 to 5 years of course duration depending on the course chosen by candidates.

NIU offers UG courses such as B.Sc, B.Tech, BBA, B.Com, BBA LLB, BA LLB, BA JMC, BA, BFA, B.Des, B.Ed, B.Pharma, etc. Some of these programmes are offered in multiple specializations. Admissions to these courses are based on both merit and entrance exams conducted by University. There are other rounds of selection also included like Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Students who have scores from National level examination, JEE,CUET UG are exempted from entrance examination.

NIU PG Program Admission 2026

NIU admission for the postgraduate program will start soon for the academic session 2026. The university has some eligibility requirements that need to be fulfilled by every student who wants to apply here. They also have to pay application fees, which is a one-time payment, non-refundable and mandatory. All those fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply for admission through its official website. PG Programmes have a 2-year course duration. The university delivers programmes on semester basis. It consists of 4 semesters, 2 in a year.

NIU offers PG Programmes such as MFA, M.A, M.Sc, M.Com, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, MA JMC, MA Ed, and so on. University offers multiple specializations in some courses. Admissions are based on merits and entrance exams which are conducted by University. Other selection procedures consist of Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. Students having national-level entrance scores CAT/MAT/XAT/CUET PG, etc can be exempted from the examination.

NIU Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026

Eligibility Criteria have to be fulfilled by every student who is applying for admissions at NIU. Universities will reject or will not consider applications of those students who are not fulfilling eligibility criteria.

• UG Programmes: Students must be 10+2 passed with compulsory subjects as specified by University. Minimum passing marks secured in the last qualifying exam should be 50% to 55% depending on course.
• PG Programmes: Students must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant course/programme as specified by NIU. They must secure 50% minimum marks or aggregate in last qualifying examination. MBA requires an entrance score of CAT to be 60% and MAT to be 75%.

Candidates from reserved category students get 5% relaxation in required minimum passing marks. 

NIU Admission Fees Structure

All students are required to pay an INR 10,000 security fee. It is a one time pay and refundable. An additional of INR 2,500 have to be paid by students at the end of their last semester to get award of degree. If any student will apply for a scholarship, then they will get a concession on Tuition fees only.

NIU Admission Procedure 2026

Follow below given steps to fill the application form without any inconvenience or problem.

• Step 1: Visit the Official Website: Go to the official page of the NIU admission or directly click on www.admissions.niu.edu.in/ and register yourself as a New User.
• Step 2: Fill in Application Form: Access application form and fill it with all required and correct details (personal details and educational qualifications)
• Step 3: Submit form: Now pay non refundable application fee via net banking/credit card/debit card/wallet. and submit your form. 
• Step 4: Verification of Documents/Entrance Exams: After successful verification of documents, you will receive a detailed schedule for your entrance test / Group Discussion/ Personal Interview, including date, time, and venue, on your registered email ID.
• Step 5: Pay Fees: Those who will be selected will be required to pay semester/annual pay immediately to reserve their seat. Failing in doing so will result in admission cancellation.
• Step 6: Admission Confirmation: Once all above steps will be cleared successfully, you will receive an offer/provisional admission letter, issued by the University.
