PG programmes offered by the University are M.A., M.V.A., M.Com, M.Sc, M.S.W, etc in multiple specialisations. Course duration of these programmes are 2 years, followed by a semester-based pattern. Mangalore University PhD Program Admission 2026-27
Mangalore University admission will start soon for PhD programmes for the 2026 academic session. Ph.D stands for Doctor of Philosophy and is the top level degree of education.

Mangalore University Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026-27
Eligibility criteria is very important to fulfill to apply for admission in Mangalore University. If any eligible candidate submits their form, then it will be rejected by University.
- Eligibility for UG Programmes: Candidates must be 10th and 12th standard passed with minimum 50% marks or its equivalent from recognized University board.
- Eligibility for PG Programmes: Candidates must hold UG degree with 45% minimum secured marks or its equivalent.

- Step 2: Create an account under ‘New User Registration’ on portal and access application form. For admission in more than one programme, students need to fill separate application forms.
- Step 3: Fill application form with all required information like personal details and academic details.
- Step 4: Now upload documents like passport size photo, signature, marksheet copy, and other required documents.
