DU Cut Off: Delhi University (DU) will release all three cut-off lists of CUET UG 2026 for admission in its academic session 2026 soon. Students who have allotted seats under the cut off list are required to accept it before the deadline, or else their admission will be considered cancelled. Every year, DU offers admission in its affiliated colleges CUET cut-off list only. It is required by them to be eligible under this list to go further with their admission process.
Those students who got shortlisted in the DU Spot round cut-off list must pay the admission fee before the given timeframe to confirm their admission.
What is DU Cut Off?
Delhi University Cut off simply means the minimum marks students have secured in their CUET exam that is required for admission to specific courses & colleges affiliated to DU. These cut-off list changes every year as per the University’s decision and are published in many lists. Students get admission through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). These seat allocations at DU are based on different criteria like Programme-specific eligibility, Social Category, and availability of seats.

Factors of DU Cut Off
There are several factors that are considered by the Board of Universities at the time of deciding the cut-off for admissions. These include:
- Course/ Programmes: Courses and programmes decides cut off as popular courses have always high cut offs like Political Science in comparison to unpopular courses like Sanskrit or Hindi.
- Social Category of Students: There are various seat reservation policies for students belonging to Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) which also becomes a key factor in deciding cut off as it varies for them.
- College Tier: College rank, reputation, and prestige plays one of the major key role in deciding cut off. Top college have very high cut off meanwhile average colleges have less cut off.
- Number of Applicants vs Seats: It is another important criteria. For popular courses there are usually higher applications than the seat which leads to higher cut off for that particular programme.
DU Cut Off 2026 CUET UG
DU will announce all three CUET cut-off lists for UG programmes soon. Students who missed their seat allocation, fee submission or any other admission process have to wait for next year now. Students have to appear for CUET entrance exam to be eligible for the CUET cut-off list. After appearing for exam, they have to register themselves at DU CSAS portal, www.ugadmission.uod.ac.in/, as they can confirm their admission through this website only. DU has more than 90 affiliated colleges in which it provides admission through the CUET UG cut-off list. It offers various programmes like B.A, B.Sc., B.Com., etc with multiple specialisations.

DU Cut Off CSAS UG 2025
Delhi University Admissions to all UG programmes are done through DU CSAS Portal for academic session 2025-26, based on eligibility requirements and other rules as mentioned in University’s official website. Admissions will be done on the basis of the Common University Entrance Test – Undergraduate 2025 (CUET UG 2025). Students have to register themselves on this portal after appearing for CUET exam conducted by NTA.
DU CSAS UG 2025 includes three phases:
- Phase 01: Apply to University of Delhi (DU)
- Phase 02: Fill your preference for College and course
- Phase 03: Allocation/Admission which means confirm your seat before deadline
There is a time CSAS UG registration fee which is one time pay and non refundable.

DU CSAS Registration Portal 2026
It is not possible to get admission in the DU college without registering at the CSAS Portal. Follow given steps to register without any inconvenience:
- Step 01: Go to the official portal of DU CSAS, www.ugadmission.uod.ac.in/.
- Step 02: Log in with your CUET application number and password.
- Step 03: Fill CSAS registration form with all required details.
- Step 04: Pay registration fee and submit your form.
