BNMU admission process will start soon for the academic session 2026. This admission will be accepted for many undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral(PhD), and vocational courses. The admission process will be through the BNMU UMIS portal. You need to register yourself on its admission portal. All applications need to pay an application fee between Rs 500 to Rs 1000. Application fee also varies depending on course. Admission to most of the courses are taken on the spot while the rest of the professional courses ask for entrance tests like CAT/JEE/CET and more.

The university also conducts its own entrance test. You are advised by the university to complete all necessary processes before the closure of the admission process. The last date for submission of application form will be available on the official page.

BNMU UG Courses Admission 2026

From General to Professional courses are being offered in many faculties. BNMU admission will start soon for the undergraduate courses. Most of the course admission is accepted on the basis of merit while rest of the course admission needs an entrance test. This entrance exam should either be conducted by any testing agency or by university itself. To be eligible for UG courses:

• You need a passing certificate from a state or central board of class 12 or equivalent. 
• Minimum weightage of marks is mostly from 45% to 55%. 
• Relation of 5% reservation for some candidates who belong to SC/ST.
• Common University Entrance Examination Scorecard is also necessary for some courses. 

BNMU PG Courses Admission 2026

BNMU admission process will begin soon for the academic session 2026. Admission to PG courses available at BNMU is merit-based for some general courses only. While Professional courses ask for CUET, JEE main, CAT or University Entrance Test. For Admission in BNMU PG courses, you should be a graduate qualified. Having some required minimum marks, it is totally up to course selection. This mostly lies between 45% to 55%. Relaxation is provided in the minimum required marks for reserve students. If there is any vacant seat, that will be filled by spot.

BNMU PhD Admission 2026

Ph.D admission at B.N. Mandal University is available in many specializations. The university has recently informed us about its Ph.D examination which is still going for 2025 session. BNMU admission registration will start soon for the PhD for the academic session 2026. Admission will be completely under guidance of UGC. To be eligible for Ph.D programme, you will need A master’s degree or any equivalent that holds same level will work. Must have 55% marks, 50% for SC/ST candidates. A clearance of M.Phil work having minimum weightage in aggregate marks. You also need to appear in University Ph.D Admission test. This will also be an important factor for considering your admission.

Eligibility Criteria Necessary For BNMU Admission

Admission to all UG, PG, Ph.D, and Vocational courses will be only after fulfillment of Eligibility Criteria. There are some well-decided parameters that have been laid down by university itself. • UG: For Bachelor’s level course just need to have completion of 12th or equivalent from any state or central recognized board. There is a minimum marks weightage required from candidates.
• PG: Candidates can only apply if they have a degree of bachelor’s in any discipline. Having minimum marks , which is between 45% to 55% in aggregate. 
• Ph.D : A master degree holder in specialization in a relevant subject having a minimum 55% can apply for this. 

Some professional course admissions will need an entrance examination certificate. University also conduct entrance examinations for some selected programmes. 

BNMU Admission Fee Structure  

B.N Mandal University Fee Structure is affordable for all categories of students. This structure is decided by Government officials and the university has also informed about it in a memo. BNMU Admission Application Process 2026

All applicants need to start their admission process from BNMU UMIS portal. The process involved in application will be completely online. From fee payment to filling form will be totally online. Here are some basic steps you need to follow

• Step 1: Registration: on the official website of BNMU, register yourself and generate Student User id and Password
• Step 2: Portal:  Enter that ID and Passkey to access the BNMU UMIS portal. 
• Step 3: Personal Details: Enter all important details like name, age, nationality, gender and others.
• Step 4: Address Information: All details related to your accomodation
• Step 5: Documents: Upload necessary documents especially those one marked with (*). 
• Step 6: Subject and College Selection : If you have any specific course choice, choose that. 
• Step 7: Payment: Pay application Fee through the payment gateway available at B.N. Mandal University Management and Information System.
