GGTU Admission 2026-27 | Eligibility, Admission Process, Career Prospect

GGTU admission process will start soon for the academic session 2026-27 for all undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, or certificate courses. Students who wants to take admission in the govind guru tribal university in their UG or PG courses can apply from the official website of the university. Registration fee for all the courses is INR 100. GGTU mostly offers PG courses whereas only one UG course is on offer which is LLB. Eligibility for the admission in PG course is graduate in any discipline, it also has some courses which require a special subject which a candidate must have studied on their bachelor’s program.

For the UG course which is LLB students requires to get passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks for the general category students whereas 45% for the reserved category.

Eligibility Criteria For GGTU Admission

Students who want to do diploma courses are required to pass a 10+2  whereas for PG diploma courses, students are required to pass graduation with a concerned subject depending upon the stream/specialization one chooses.Students who want to pursue undergraduate program must have passed 10+2/graduation in any subject with minimum 50% marks in aggregate,5 % relaxation is there for the reserved category students.

For PG courses students are required to have a graduation degree in any discipline, there are specific subjects required in the bachelor’s degree for the course MSc chemistry,maths, botany ,zoology.Students can visit the official website of the university for specific information about the subjects.Course duration is 2 years for the PG courses and 3 years for the UG course and 1 year for the diploma courses.

GGTU Admission Fee Structure 2026-27

GGTU admission registration fee for any course is INR 100 which is non-refundable in any circumstances. Tuition fee is variable depending on the subject and stream candidate chooses. Tuition fee for the postgraduate course is between INR 2500 – INR 10000 per semester whereas for the UG courses it varies between INR 5000 TO INR 10500. There is certificate as well as diploma courses being taught in the university.

For the certificate course tuition fee is INR 1000 for the whole course whereas for the diploma course tuition fee ranges between INR 2000 – INR 15000 yearly .There will be additional fee for the examination, students will be required to pay before the starting of every semester examination.

General Guidelines For GGTU Admission

Admission to various certificate/ diploma/ undergraduate/ postgraduate courses will be offered to the students who have qualifying examination from a recognised board or university. Admission in the phd and mphil courses will be through entrance examination as per the UGC guidelines. A candidate can apply for the only one course at a time students who want to apply for the different purses will need to fill out a separate form.

Interested students have to give the entrance exam for the GGTU admission for any Diploma, Certificate, UG, or PG courses, and admission is also done through merit-based.

• Step 1: Registration – students are required to register themselves using personal information,family information, email id and phone number,upload a photo and signature and choose a password 
• Step 2: Fill up the application form– fill the necessary details asked in the application form such as your personal details and educational background details as well as category certificate .
• Step 3: Upload all the documents– upload the scanned copy of the documents required to back all the claims made by the applicant.
• Step 4: Pay the fee – now pay the required amount for the registration 
• Step 5: Save the form – save the application for any future references 
• Step 6: Entrance/merit list – students have to appear for the entrance for a specific program whereas merit list will be released for admission through it.
• Step 7: Counseling/admission – students whose name is in the merit list or entrance exam passed students will be called to the university to produce original documents and seat allotment.

GGTU Career Prospect and Placement 

Career options for the GGTU students depend upon the specialization one chooses. There are a variety of career choices candidates can choose starting from the IT jobs they can choose if form engineering background. University facilitates placement drives in the university by conducting various job fairs and employment counseling sessions which boosts a students chance to get placed in a good institution with better packages. Highest  package from the university was 2-5 lakh a month whereas average package os between 25- 40 k per month. Student can pursue further studies which will widens the chance of good career growth and impact.

• Any students who have FIR against him by any university and institution is not eligible for the admission 
• Anyone who a have convicted in any case are also not eligible for the admission 
• Any student who has been found misbehaving to any employee of intuition is also deemed no eligible for admission

Gap Between the Study 

• For the admission in UG courses a student who has more than 2 years gap after qualifying examination will not be eligible for admission in the university.
• This rule is not applicable to female students 
• For the admission in PG courses, candidates who have 2 or more year gap in the PG previous year to final year will not be eligible to take admission in the in any PG final year
•  Female candidates are exempted from this rule.
