Aryabhatta Knowledge University is a public state university located in Patna. AKU was established in 2008  by the Government of Bihar. Aryabhatta Knowledge University UG Admission 2026-27

Aryabhatta Knowledge Uniersity admission for the undergraduate program will start soon for the 2026-27 academic year. AKU offers B.Tech programmes in Civil Engineering (CE), Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Leather Technology (LT), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.), Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.), Bachelor in Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) and many more. The duration of these UG programmes is a minimum of 3 years, which can be extended up to 4 years. The eligibility required for pursuing undergraduate (UG) courses, candidates need to have completed their higher secondary education (10+2) or equivalent examination from a certified board. 

The university sets a minimum percentage of aggregate marks, often around 50% to 55% and it has a stream preference for medical programmes. However, the university selects candidates on the basis of merit score in the qualifying examination, but for some courses, it may require candidates to appear for a national-level entrance examination or ANAT (AKU Nursing Admission Test).

Aryabhatta Knowledge University offers numerous postgraduate (PG) courses in medical, education, and engineering fields. Aryabhatta Knowledge University admission will start soon for the academic session 2026. Interested candidates are requested to visit the admission portal and fill out the form. AKU provides a PG degree in M.Tech, M.A, M.Ed, MCA, M.Sc, MBA and many more. Candidates can take admission in any PG programmes after clearing the entrance exam conducted by AKU or any national/state-level entrance exam. To pursue PG courses, one must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized university, and also secure a minimum aggregate of 50% to 60% marks.

Aryabhatta Knowledge University Admission Fee Structure 

Fee structure of Aryabhatta Knowledge University is slightly cheaper than other universities. Undergraduate programmes are generally started from INR 10,000 to INR 14,000 and for the postgraduate programmes INR 12,000 to INR 18,000 per year.  Applicants also need to pay some additional fees like a development fee of INR 1,000 which has to be paid at the time of registration, registration fee of INR 1,500 and more. It is highly recommended to check the official fees structure of AKU.
