DTU admission for the academic session 2026-27 will start soon for all UG and PG courses. Students who are willing to take admission in the university are advised to look up the official website of the university and register themselves online. Registration fee for enrollment is INR 1500, which is required to be submitted online. Students will be enrolled through common entrance test, marks of JEE  mains and advanced are also considered.

DTU is a renowned university offering programs in the TECH field. DTU admission process will start soon for the academic session 2026. Admission is Accepted through entrance examination, students passed the qualifying examination which is 10+2 in case of UG degree with bachelors degree in case of PG program with pcm as one of the subjects are eligible to sit on the entrance.

Students with jee scores are also considered for admission. Registration charges for the admission in INR 1500 whereas tuition fee is subject to differ in respect to different courses.Tentative last date of the admission is 15 July 2026,students are advised to regularly visit the official website for the latest information and guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria For DTU Admission 2026-27

For the BTech program students are required to pass a qualifying examination which is 10+2 with minimum 60 % marks and candidates must have studied physics chemistry maths, a valid JEE mains score is also mandatory for the admission. UG courses other than BTech are required to appear for the CUET-UG and on the basis of merit they will be allotted seats. Students desiring to get enrolled in PG courses have to pass a qualifying examination with minimum 50 % of marks to appear on the CUET PG exam.

For some specific courses entrance examination is different from CUET-PG so students must visit the official website for any update regarding the qualifying exam for different courses . There is relaxation of 5 % marks for the reserved category students.

DTU Admission Fee Structure 

Registration fee of INR 1500 has to be paid during the application process. The programme’s tuition fee is variable depending upon the course chosen by the applicant. There is a fee concession for the students whose family income is less than INR 4.5 lakhs per annum. A list of provisionally selected student will be uploaded to the DTU website for each round of admission. Students who have been allotted seats at DTU or NSUT are required to pay the seat acceptance fee of INR 95000 in the form of a DD drawn in favour of the registrar, Delhi Technological University.

The rest of the fee will be paid by the candidate on reporting to the concerned university as per their fee structure. Detailed breakdown ofthe  fee is given below-

DTU Admission Application Process 2026-27

DTU admission application process starts shortly for the new session. Before applying, visit the official website of DTU for more details about the registration process.

• Step 1: Visit the official website -go to the official Saarth website for registration.
• Step 2: Register – click on the registration button with details like personal details, email id and phone number and choose a password. 
• Step 3: Log in to the admission portal with email id and password. 
• Step 4: Fill the application form– fill all the necessary details like personal details, educational qualification details and category details.
• Step 5: Choose the program– select the program for which you want to apply.
• Step 6: Upload the documents– upload all the necessary scanned copy of the documents under permissible size. 
• Step 7: Pay the fee– go on to the payment page and choose a gateway by which you want to pay the fee from given options and then pay the required amount.
• Step 8: Review and edit– review all the information and edit if necessary. Students won’t be able to edit once it is submitted. 
• Step 9: Final submission– submit the form. 
• Step 10: Print – print the duly submitted form for any errors.

Documents Required During Counseling

A candidate should report to the concerned department for document verification in the time decided by the university. The following documents students have to produce to the authorities-

• A duly signed printout of the application form (same as submitted online).
• Two clear photographs attached to the form.
• Copy of admit card duly signed by the invigilator.
• Demand draft made in favour of registrar of DTU/online fee payment proof of INR 95000.
• All marksheet and certificate of qualifying examination. If a candidate is appearing in the 
• exam they must produce the certificate.
• Physical copy of the category certificate.i.e. SC/ST certificate, OBC (non-creamy layer ) certificate, PwD certificate for the students applying under the disabled quota.
• A medical certificate as per the requirements of the university.

Entrance Examinations For The DTU Admission

• JEE Mains 2026– students interested in the BTech program are required to submit valid JEE score 
• GATE 2026– for admission in the MTech program it is compulsory to appear in the given examination.
• CAT/MAT – candidates are required to appear in this examination for admission in the MBA program. Graduates with above 50% marks are eligible to apply.
• PhD entrance examination– for admission in the fellowship course, students are required to appear for the concerned examination.
