HBTU Admission 2026: The new session of Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU) will start soon. The university has tightened its belt, and all preparations have been made for the next session. HBTU, a technical university that is well known for its academic approach and higher education. This university was established in 2017 by the government of Uttar Pradesh. It is also accredited with an A+ grade by NAAC. It offers different courses in bachelor’s, master’, and doctoral programs in engineering, technology, and management. It mostly focuses on Research and Development in these courses.

Eligibility Criteria for HBTU Admission 2026

The HBTU Admission process begins after the registration form. Before filling out the application form or submitting it online. HBTU University always conducts its own counseling on the basis of merit of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). But you need to find yourself qualifying all required parameters. If you want your admission to be done in HBTU, you must be a UP Domicile candidate who has passed 10+2 grade, with a minimum of five subjects, in which Physics, Mathematics or Biology is a must. Some courses also need a JEE Mains Exam scorecard.

Candidates must have passed with 55% marks, but for those who are in the reserve category, like ST/SC/OBC-NCL, persons with disability need 50% in all important subjects discussed above. Candidates who are appearing in entrance exams need to qualify criteria first. HBTU Admission 2026 Fee Structure 

There are several courses in engineering, technology, mathematics and more which are offered by HBTU. Fees for different courses vary from each other. It’s totally up to your course type. An overview of courses with tuition charges are here as B.Tech tuition fees are Rs 75,000. For BS-MS, it costs Rs 35,000. While tuition charges of the MCA Programme offered at HBTU are Rs . 60,000. It is Rs. 75,000 for B.Pharma. Additionally, Students also need to pay some charges with Tuition fees like Registration, Examination and Certification, Facility, Medical fees, Training and Placement, Activity charge, and more.

HBTU Admission 2026 Fee Structure for B.Tech (CSE)

Bachelor’s in Technology is a four-year undergraduate programme that covers different aspects of engineering and technology. This program is divided into eight semesters. You need to pay some additional charges other than tuition fee, some at the time of admission, while others during the course duration. For the first year, it charges Rs. 1,35,000. Here is an overview of the fee structure for B.Tech at HBTU.

HBTU Admission Registration 

HBTU Admission registration starts after the university opens its admission portal and announces the date of registration. If you are to start your career in a technological or engineering field, then register yourself and pay the registration fees of Rs. 2500. After registering, you will have to fill out a form. This form will ask for personal details, academic records, and uploading documents like marksheets, identity and other necessary documents. You can pay a registration fee using different payment gateways like Netbaking, Debit, or Credit card, and more. In which you feel comfortable. 

HBTU Admission Process 2026-27

HBTU Admission process starts with submitting an online application and registering yourself on official CUET website and attending the counselling process.

• Step 1: Official Website-  You need to register on both NTA CUET Samarth Portal and HBTU Admission Portal. 
• Step 2: Fill the form- Write down all necessary details as instructed in form
• Step 3: Documentation- You will be asked for uploading documents, upload as advised like size and format of documents.
• Step 4: Entrance Test – Appear in the CUET exam and get a scorecard. 
• Step 5: Cutoffs and Merit List- After examination, HBTU releases its cutoffs and merit list which includes the name of qualifying students. 
• Step 6: Counseling Process-  Check list and appear for last round of admission process.

It is necessary that all the documents be submitted at the time of the HBTU admission. All qualifications or personal documents should be submitted from the original copies. HBTU Admission Through CUET

The application and registration process is completely online-based. The Central University Entrance Test (CUET) is an entrance exam that is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). In most courses in HBTU, admission is only through CUET. So, you need to register first on the official NTA website and opt for the subjects necessary for your course. Decide your level of Examination, like CUET UG or CUET PG. Get your admit card and sit in the exam. Get a scorecard of that and take it with you at the time of counseling.
