Jammu University Admission 2026-27: Jammu University admission will start soon for the academic year 2026. Online application is open for all undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Admission to all programmes will be through CUET UG/PG examination. Entrance Test will be held in COMPUTER-BASED TEST (CBT) mode.for CUET applicants, Fees will be charged based on the number of subjects chosen. For the first 3 subjects, students belonging to general category will pay INR 1000/-, OBC-NCL/EWS- INR 900/-, ST/SC/PWBD -INR 800. There is no application fee for non-CUET applicants. Jammu University is one of the highly regarded institutions in the region, established in 1964. The 118.78 acres of the university is situated in Bahu Wali Rakh. It is accredited by NAAC with an A++ grade and as per NIRF 2025 ranking it stood 51st in the university category. Jammu University UG Admission 2026-27

Jammu University admission process will start soon for the undergraduate program for the academic year 2026. Admission to all UG programs will be based on scores obtained in the CUET UG examination. Applicants must appear in both the CUET & Practical-based test/Performance test to be conducted by the respective college/Department offering the course. Programs offered in the Jammu campus and affiliated colleges include BCA, BBA, B.B.A.LLB, BCOM, BA, B.Tech, BSC and Bachelor of Performing Arts. As per the NEP 2020, UG programs are offered for the duration of 3-4 years with 6-8 semesters. UG courses fee varies between INR 14,840 – INR 65,410/-.

Admission will be given to students who passed the 10+2 qualifying examination from a recognized board of school education falling within the territorial jurisdiction of the University of Jammu. If there is a program vacancy, then those who secured above 60% from outside Jammu will be given admission.

Jammu University PG Admission 2026-27

Jammu University admission for the postgraduate program will begin soon for the academic session 2026. Students have to appear for CUET PG and the university will conduct its own entrance examination, CUET-2026. Students can avail programs such as M.SC, M.Tech, MCA, MA, master of Education, Master in Arts (M.Lib), LLB, LLM, Master of Commerce, MBA, master of Performing Arts. All PG courses is for 2 years and 4 semesters. 

To be eligible for admission to the PG program, students need to score 50% marks and 45% for reserved category in the qualifying examination. Preference will be given to students who have scored a minimum of 40 marks in CUET PG, 75% of Academic Merit and 25% of JUET-2025 Score, and minimum of 24 credits in minor subjects of the qualifying examination. For MBA programs, selection will be through CAT/MAT scores, academic credentials, personal interview and group discussion.

• Students can register by visiting the official page of – https://jkadmission.samarth.ac.in/.
• For CUET-based registration CUET registration application number is required and for non-CUET, you will need mobile number, email ID and date of birth. 

Profile 

• Now login using CUET application number or registration number. 
• Fill up personal details, upload photos, signatures and mentioned documents.
• After reading all the instructions click on the DECLARATION box.
• Preview your profile and submit.

For non-CUET applicants

• After submitting a profile , proceed to APPLY COLLEGE. 
• Select your desired university program and submit the application.
• Download the application form the dashboard. 

For CUET applicants

• After clicking on profile submit, process for preference selection section.
• Select your preference based on eligibility and click on save.
• Appclaim can edit the preference selection before closing the application process.

• Step 1: Visit the CUET official website –  cuet.samarth.ac.in. 
• Step 2: Click on the”CUET(UG) Registration” button.
• Step 3: Fill up all the details in the CUET(UG/PG) form. 
• Step 4: Upload all the required documents clearly. 
• Step 5: Verify the details you have put.
• Step 6: Make the CUET(UG/PG) registration fee online.
• Step 7: Save, download and print out the CUET(UG/PG) application form.
• Step 8: Applicants will get the option to retrieve the password or application number of the CUET form.
• Step 9: Choose any one and enter your active email ID. 
• Step 10: Universities will get a selected CUET password or application number in their email address.
