Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya formerly known as University of Indore, was established in 1964. It is the first state university located in indore, madhya pradesh. It is an affiliating state university accredited with an A+ grade by NAAC. There are 33 departments offering certificate, diploma, postgraduate and undergraduate degree programs. DAVV Undergraduate Admission 2026-27
DAVV admission for the UG programs will start soon for the academic year 2026. Admission will be through CUET UG conducted by NTA and merit through department counselling . Students can apply to undergraduate programs such as Bachelor of Business Administration(BBA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.COM), Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), Bachelor of Arts (BA), BA LLB, B.PHARM, B.E, B.VOC. The course length of all UG programs is 3-4 years with 6-8 semesters. Total seat intake is between 60-120 students, as per the program capacity.

To be eligible for admission, students need to pass a 10+2 examination in any stream with a minimum 50% mark from any recognized board or equivalent. UG course fee per semester is approximately INR 14,586 -INR 89,000/-.
DAVV Postgraduate Admission 2026-27
DAVV admission window has not opened yet for all PG programs for the session 2026. University is offering postgraduate programs like master of Business Administration (MBA) with 16 specializations, master of Social Work (MSW), Master of Arts(MA) with 5 specializations, LLM, M.E, M.TECH, M.SC, B.J, BPES, MLISC, MVOC, and M.PHARM. The duration of the postgraduate program is 2 years and 4 semesters.
To be eligible for PG admission, students must hold a bachelor’s degree in any stream and need to secure 45% – 50% (55% for LLM/M.PHARM)in their qualifying examination. There is 5% eligibility relaxation for the reserved category as per M.P government. It is necessary for applicants pursuing MBA to have completed a 1-year internship period. Students will be selected as per the scores obtained in CUET PG examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). For NON-CET applicants, selection is through department counselling. PG program fee per year is around INR 18700- INR 90,580/-.

Other than the registration fee of INR 1500/-, students also have to pay a one-time refundable caution fee of INR 4000/. Including examination fee of INR 5500/- and a sum of INR 500 for alumni fee.

DAVV Admission Application Process 2026-27
- Step 1: Form registration: register online for the application form by creating a username and password and other personal details.
- Step 2: Note down the application number generated.
- Step 3: Now login using application number and password.
- Step 4: Application form: Fill up the application form with personal details, educational qualifications, and upload documents and images.
- Step 5: Upload scanned photographs( 10 kb to 200 kb) and signature(n 4 kb to 30 kb) and PwD/PwBD certificate(10 kb to 300 kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
- Step 6: Fee payment: students have to pay their fee online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, and UPI Services.
- Step 7: Download and save confirmation page after the successful payment of the fee.
- Step 8: Applicants must ensure that all details mentioned are correct or else it will lead to cancellation of the form.

Below are the steps of the DAVV CUET admission process for all undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and carefully check the result of your CUET.

- First round of counseling
- For NTA-qualified applicants, Registration of the students for Counseling will be through www.dauniv.ac.in / https://davv.mponline.gov.in.
- The result of the merit list of CUET UG/PG will be declared.
- After the merit list result is declared, students will fill the program of their choice.
- Students will be allotted a program, and their allotment letter will be available on the university website.
- Students have to report to the university for document verification and fee submission.
- Second round of counselling
- Students who have not registered for the first counseling round will register now.
- Lastly, a spot admission round will be conducted.
