DEI Admission 2026-27: The DEI admission process will start soon for the January 2026 academic session for the undergraduate, postgraduate, and PG diploma courses. Students are invited to apply for the desired program by filling up the application form. Selection of the students will be based on academic merit, admission test, interview and co-curricular activities. Application fee of non-professional courses is INR 230 per course and for professional courses it’s INR 270/-. About Dayalbagh Educational Institute  

Dayalbagh Educational Institute was established in 1915. It is a teaching cum research institute. It is deemed to be a university located in Dayalbagh, Agra, Uttar Pradesh. DEI is a member of Association of indian universities(AIU).It is recognized by UGC, and has been certified by ISO. The university is also accredited by NAAC with an A+ grade. Most of the programs are approved by AICTE, NBA, Council of architecture, NCTE. DEI UG Admission 2026-27

DEI admission will start soon for the academic year 2026. Students can opt for UG programs such as Bachelor of Arts (Honours), B.F.A., BBA with 3 specializations, B.Sc., B.CO.M, B.TECH. with 5 specializations, B.ARCH, Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), B.E,d. and B.Voc all undergraduate courses are for the duration of 4 years and 8 semesters as per NEP 2020. Selection of the students will be based on academic merit, admission test, interview, and CCA. There is no age limit for admission.

To be eligible for UG admission, students must pass intermediate from Dayalbagh Educational Institute or any recognized board of secondary education. There is 5% revelation for SC/ST. For B.tech admission, JEE main scores will be considered for B./Tech program and for B.ARCH NATA scores and drawing tests. 

DEI PG Admission 2026-27

DEI admission registration process for the PG program will start soon for the academic year 2026. Students can apply to PG programs in master of Arts, master of Commerce, master of Science, M.Ed., M.Tech, and MBA. Postgraduate courses last 2 years and 4 semesters, as per NEP 2020. Students will be selected through interview, academic merit, CCA, and an admission test.

To be eligible for the Program, students need to graduate with any honours with a minimum 55% mark from any recognized university. The university offers 5% mark relaxation for SC/ST category. For the M.Tech program GATE score is required and for the BHMS program valid NEET scores. There is no minimum age; however, applicants should not exceed 21 years old on 1st july of the year of admission. There is no age limit for female applicants. 3 years age relaxation is given for SC/ST students. 

DEI Diploma Program Admission 2026-27

DEI admission for the diploma program will begin soon for the academic year 2026. At present, the university offers PG Diploma in Textile Designing & Printing (PGDTDP), PG Diploma in Journalism & Mass Communication (PGDJMC), PG Diploma in Business Economics (PGDBE), PG Diploma in Urban Planning and Management (PGDUPM) (Modular), PG Diploma in Artificial Intelligence (PGDAI), Diploma in Elementary Education (After Intermediate Pass) and more. 

PG programs are offered for 1 year and 4 semesters, with total intake between 10 and 20 students. Diploma courses are offered for 2 years and 4 semesters. With a total intake of 50 students. Admission will be based on merit, admission test, interview and CCA.

DEI Admission Fee Structure 

An admission fee is charged one time at the time of admission only. Including caution money which is refundable.

DEI Admission Application Process 2026-27

DEI admission application process will start shortly for all Diploma, UG, and PG programs for the academic session 2026-27. Before applying for DEI admission, read all the important guidelines carefully.

• Step 1: Go to the DEI website – www.dei.ac.in/ and click on the online admission link.
• Step 2: Click on the new register and create your account.
• Step 3: Register by adding your name, email ID, date of birth, category, gender, aadhaar number, contact number, and lastly, captcha code. 
• Step 4: Now, click on create account. You will receive an application number and password. 
• Step 5: Log in using the application number and password. 
• Step 6: Enter your personal information, choose the program of your choice, educational details.
• Step 7: Upload your signature and photograph in jpeg/jpg with file size of 500 kb for photo and 100 KB for signature. 
• Step 8: Pay your application fee online.
• Step 9: Check your application status by clicking on VIEW YOUR APPLICATION STATUS. 

Note: Changes can be made to the application before the last date, even after the payment.
