CUSB Admission 2026: CUSB admission window has not opened yet for the academic year 2026. University application fee is INR 500 for general/OBC/EWS and INR 200 for SC/ST/PWD. Students can find the application form on the university admission portal. Admission is open for all undergraduate and postgraduate programs. About CUSB 

CUSB is the short form of the Central University of South Bihar. It is among the 16th-century central universities established in 2009. Spread over 300 acres of land, it is situated on Gaya-Panchanpur Road, Gaya, Bihar, India. It is accredited by NAAC with an A++ grade and is granted UGC category 1 university status. 

It is offering 5 undergraduate, 28 postgraduate, 1 diploma program, 17 UG-PG integrated programs, and 24 PhD programs. The university has 25 departments under 12 approved schools.  CUSB has adopted a choice-based credit system. Students can opt for programs in the field of commerce, law, education, economics, physical education, history, journalism and mass communication, etc.

CUSB Undergraduate Admission 2026-27

CUSB admission process for the academic year 2026 will start soon for the UG program. Students can apply to their desired undergraduate program by filling up an application form online. Currently, it is offering UG programs in BA LLB, BBA LLB, B.Sc., BA, and BA/B.SC. B.Ed., Bachelor of Commerce. Admission will be based on a general aptitude test(GAT). The duration of all UG programs is 4-5 years with 8-10 semesters.

To be eligible for admission, students need to pass their 10+2 examination in any stream from a recognized educational board with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PW applicants). 

CUSB Postgraduate Admission 2026-27

CUSB admission application process will start soon PG program for the academic year 2026. Students can register now by uploading an application form online. Postgraduate programmes are available for the duration of 1 to 2 years for 2/4 semesters. Students can get admission to programs such as master of arts in 6 specialties and MAJMC, M.SC in 11 specializations, LLM, M.COM, M.ED, and M.P ed, and M.Pharm.

To avail admission to any PG program, students need to have bachelor degree with minimum 50% marks(45% for SC/ST/PWD) in relevant discipline from any recognized university. Selection of the students will be through a general aptitude test.

CUSB Admission Application Process

It is a must for students to appear for CUET UG examination if a specific program demands it. Program-wise cutoff will be uploaded on the university website. Before starting the application process, ensure to check the eligibility and basic requirements of the program and university. 

• Step 1: Visit the CUSB SAMARTH Portal through the link https://cusbcuet.samarth.edu.in. 
• Step 2: Create a login ID with an active email and phone number.
• Step 3: Log in and fill up the application forms with personal and education details. 
• Step 4: Select the desiring program.
• Step 5: Scan all the original documents and upload them. 
• Step 6: Pay registration fee online. 
• Step 7: Eligible students will be required to pay a program fee to secure their seat.
