Sethu Institute of Technology Admission 2026-27: Sethu Institute of Technology admission will start soon for the academic year 2026. Students can now apply to UG and PG courses offered by the university. Programs available at Sethu Institute include B.E. and B.Tech., and M.E and M.Tech. About Sethu Institute of Technology 

Sethu Institute of Technology (SIT) was started in 1995 by Sethu Educational Trust under the motto of knowledge, service, and progress. It is situated in Pulloor, Kariapatti, Virudhunagar District, Tamil Nadu, INDIA. Sethu Institute Of Technology Admission 2026-27 For Undergraduate

Sethu Institute of Technology admission will start soon for the undergraduate program for the current academic year  2026. Students can fill up online applications for the Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Technology programs. B.E. and B.Tech programmes are offered for a duration of 4 years and 8 semesters. Students can opt for B.E. specialization in mechanical, CSE, ECE, EEE, civil, agriculture, biomedical, computer science & design, AI & data science, and computer science and engineering. Specializations in the B.Tech program include biotechnology, artificial intelligence & data science, computer science and business systems, and information technology.

To be eligible for these programs, students need to pass a 10+2 examination with a minimum mark of 45% for the general category and 40% for the reserved category with mathematics, physics, and chemistry as main subjects. 

Sethu Institute Of Technology Admission 2026-27 For Postgraduate

Sethu Institute of Technology admission will start soon for the postgraduate program for the academic year 2026. Students can now apply to M.E and M.Tech programs at the postgraduate level. It is a 2-year degree course with 4 semesters.  To be eligible for admission to the PG program, applicants must pass with a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field with a minimum mark of 50% (45% for the reserved category) in B.E/B.Tech qualifying examination from a recognized university. Students will be selected as per the scores obtained in GATE and  TANCET examinations. Also students with 5 years professional experience under sponsored category have to appear for the TANCET examination. 

University offers M.E specialization in CAM/CAD, communication system, computer science and engineering, power electronics and drive, structural engineering and M.Tech program in data science. 

Sethu Institute Of Technology Fee Structure 

Sethu Institute of Technology offers undergraduate or postgraduate programs, and every course has its different fees. Students can pay fees both online and offline method. Students’ application fee ranges between INR 100 to INR 500. Other charges, including examination fee, library, seminar, and lab fees may total upto INR 10,000/-. Undergraduate program fee of B.E and B.Tech. fees may range from INR 90,000 to INR 1,20,000.  Postgraduate program fee of M.E and M.Tech may be around INR 1,00,000 to INR 1,30,000. Payment of the fees has to be done online via net banking, UPI, or credit/debit card.

Steps to fill the application form: 

• Step 1: Visit the Sethu Institute of Technology official webpage- www.sethu.ac.in/. 
• Step 2: Click on the online application. 
• Step 3: Click on NEW REGISTRATION. 
• Step 4: Complete basic registration by entering details such as 12th standard registration number, applicant name as per marksheet, date of birth and mobile number. 
• Step 5: Login with username and password. 
• Step 6: After checking the eligibility criteria, proceed to fill the application form. 
• Step 7: Select graduation level(UG or PG), personal details and click SAVE to continue ahead. 
• Step 8: Fill up contact details, select your program, educational qualification and then click save to proceed to next. 
• Step 9: Upload passport-size photo and certificate and click on PREVIEW. 
• Step 10: Payment can be through cash(required to go to college) or through online(UPI,Net banking/credit and debit card). 
• Step 11: The university will send confirmation mail or SMS in your registered number and email.

Sethu Institute Of Technology Scholarship Schemes

Sethu Institute of Technology provides the ‘Sethu Merit Scholarship’. In which a maximum of 2 lakhs scholarship is provided to students whose scores are the engineering cutoff marks and in sethu merit scholarship test. The Tamil government has ordered a 7.5% scholarship for government school students. Management grants fee concessions to deserving students in every academic year. Students are required to get prior approval before joining the institutions. University also provides first graduate tuition fee concession and post metric scholarship. 

Economically disadvantaged students can avail following scholarship schemes such as; 

• BC/MBC/DNC scholarship – whose parent income is less than INR 2,00,000/-.
• Minority scholarship– government and management quota students (Muslim, Christian, Jain, and Buddhist) whose parents income is less than INR 2,00,000/-.
