CUET PG 2026: Common University Entrance Test is being conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). CUET PG is being introduced for admission into postgraduate programmes in participating and central universities for the 2026 academic session. It provides a common platform and equal opportunity for every candidate across the country. Graduation-passed students can appear for this entrance examination. Mode of examination is Computer-Based Test (CBT), and the medium of examination is in English and Hindi only. This examination helps to establish better connections with Institutes or Universities.

Who can apply for CUET (PG)? 

Students must have minimum qualification for common university entrance test. Candidates who have passed ‘bachelor degree’ from any recognized university can appear for this examination. Minimum 45% aggregate marks required for General category. There is no age registration for CUET PG examination. 

Note* candidates should be Indian and have valid qualification documents. 

How to Download the Admit Card Of CUET PG 2026? 

Individuals can download their Admit Card from the website of the National Testing Agency (NTA). Click on the Admit card portal and login with your Application Form Number and Date of Birth. Admit Cards will not be sent by post.

  • Fill required information 
  • Fill the captcha given button of the application button

CUET PG 2026 Online Registration Process

Read the prospectus carefully and fill application form with required documents. Check the official website of CUET for further details, and also check the registration process there for confirmation about the process. Follow the instruction given below- 

  • Step 1: Registration- Search for the official website https://cuet.nta.nic.in and register online with valid details and write your password, and application number sent by Email address and register mobile number. 
  • Step 2: Filling of application form – Log in on the official page using Password and Application Number , fill application form carefully with necessary information such as Aadhar card  Name, Father name, Resident etc. 
  • Step 3: Upload Documents- Individuals have to upload recent photos in JPG or JPEG format. Photo should be either in coloured or black and white with 80% face visible including ear against a white background. Size of the scanned photo should be between 12 kb to 200 kb
  • Step 4: Fee Payment- Fee can be submitted only online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI. No fees acceptable from any other sources. 
  • Step 5: Confirm- Submission of Application of a student could be considered as successful. Download and save a copy of Confirmation receipt of Application Form.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s) 

Question: Will I be able to leave early if I finish the exam before the allocated exam time has ended?

Answer- No, applicants will not be allowed to leave early. They have to finish their scheduled time mentioned in Admit card until a genuine medical emergency. 

Question: Can I take Exam from my own computer? 

Answer- No, National Testing Agency provides their own computer for every candidate. 

Question: What documents do I need to carry to exam centre on day of the examination?

Answer- You have to bring following documents such as Admit Card, Photo Identity Card, One Passport size photo and Caste Certificate who belongs to reserved category. 

Question: Should I carry a paper to the exam hall to do some rough work?

Answer- No, department of examination provides blank paper sheets and calculators for every student. 

Question: What is the last report of the examination hall? 

Answer- Reporting time starts one-hour 40 minutes prior to schedules of examination. Candidates have to report at time mentioned on admit card.
