MBB University Admission 2026-27: Registration process at MBB University for the 2026 academic year will start soon for undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses. The admission process will be based on CUET and the Marks obtained in the examination. The university invites all eligible candidates who are seeking admission to programs. About MBB University 

Maharaja Bir Bikram University is located in the greenery of capital city Agartala, Tripura and it was established on November 1, 2015, and passed by the Tripura Legislative Assembly. It offers a wide range of master, bachelor and doctoral degrees. University has been accredited with a “B” grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and the University Grants Commission. There are three degree colleges affiliated under the MBB University such as Maharaja Bir Bikram College,Bir Bikram Memorial College and Tripura Government Law College. Aim and Vision to  promote world citizenry, disseminate and advance knowledge in interdisciplinary studies and research, developing critical thoughts and creativity.

MBB University Courses

• Undergraduate Course- Maharaja Bir Bikram University provides undergraduate courses which include various specializations. After successful completion of Intermediate (12th) from any recognized board students are eligible to enroll in bachelor’s degree. It offers only one UG course that is Bachelor of Library and Information Science. It takes a minimum of 1 year to complete, which includes two semesters. This program introduces to candidates concepts of library management and information Science. Syllabus framed according to Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). 
• Postgraduate Courses- Interested students who want to continue their higher studies can get admission in postgraduate courses like MSc. in Science, MCom in Mathematics, MBLIS and MA in English offered by MBB university. Master degree programs are the highest degree of education, applicants can enroll after successful completion of their bachelor degree. Maximum duration of course is 4-years and minimum duration is 2 years, split into 4-semesters. Program syllabus is framed as CBCS curriculum. 

MBB University Undergraduate Admission 2026

MBB University admission procedure will open soon for the new 2026 Academic Session for undergraduate programs. Who have valid scores obtained in the Common University Entrance test (CUET). Candidates who have cleared Intermediate level examination (12th) from any recognized boards to be eligible for admission. Minimum 45% aggregate marks required for candidates who belong to general category. University faculty  provides 5% relaxation in obtained marks in board examinations for reserved category candidates. Admission procedure is fully online, individuals can get admission though MBB University official website. Registration Fee- INR 100/-. For general and INR 50/- for SC/ST/Obc.

MBB University Postgraduate Admission 2026

MBB University admission will start soon for the January academic session 2026-27. Maharaja Bir Bikram University, Agartala invites applications from applicants who have valid scores in the concerned subject and chosen MBB University in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) – PG conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to M.A. in English, M.A. in Political Science, M.Sc. in Mathematics and Master of Library & Information Science programmes for the academic session 2026. The admission procedure is fully online; no need to visit the university campus. Registration fee INR 200/-.

MBB University Admission Fee Structure

BLIS programs fee structure as compared to other regular universities, is moderate and affordable. Eligible candidates who belong to reserved category or backward classes can easily continue their study at a low fee structure. Total tuition fee INR 45,500/-. Individuals can submit semester-wise as well as a time payment. University designed their course fee affordable and moderate to provide high-quality of education with minimal programs fee. MBB University Admission Process 2026-27

Before enrollment, students are advised to check the eligibility criteria thoroughly and must fully satisfy themselves about their eligibility as prescribed before applying for any course programme. 

Follow the given steps mentioned below- 

• Step 1. Visit https://mbbuniversity.ac.in official website and select the program. 
• Step 2. Click on the New-Admission Link and register there with valid documents and email ID, phone number and name of the candidate. 
• Step 3. Make your login id (password and username). 
• Step 4. Log-in on ‘Students-Portal’ and fill required details in application form carefully. 
• Step 5. Upload qualification documents (Marksheet, Aadhar Card, Photo, Signature etc.). 
• Step 6. Pay registration fee and programs fee by using online payment methods. After successful admission process download confirmation slip and fee receipt. 

Note* Individuals will be responsible for themselves if they opt for a course for which they are not eligible.

MBB University Result and Examination

Examination Schedule: The University conducts term-end examinations twice a year based on the CBCS curriculum. Individuals have to fill examination form with the required fee before appearing in UG or PG courses. Applicants who have enrolled for the January academic session examination will be scheduled in July onward.

Result: If any student wants to check their results, they can visit the University’s official website and they can view or download their result.

MBB University Scholarship Scheme

North Eastern Council (NEC) scholarships scheme available for only Indians and candidates who belong to north eastern areas. Eligible candidates can get benefits through this scholarship. Individuals can get a concession in tuition fee upto 30%. Fill the scholarship form at the time of admission on the official website of MBB Scholarship page. Once selected, the scholarship shall be available to a selected student for the prescribed duration of a course subject to fulfillment of renewal conditions, as mentioned in prospectus. Extension of scholarship beyond the prescribed period of study will not be entertained.

Note* Scholarship shall be admissible to candidates whose parent or guardian’s annual income from all sources shall not exceed INR 8 lakh. The income certificate issued by the competent authority shall be furnished by the candidate and submitted in the admission from.
