Programmes Offered By CSKHPKV

University has wide range of courses like undergraduate and postgraduate. Applicants can enroll in offered courses with specializations. These courses are recognised and approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and UGC (University Grant Commission).

• Undergraduate Programmes- Applicants who want to build their career in Agricultural Technology, Food Technology and Hospitality and Hotel Management can apply for undergraduate courses offered by the university. It takes a minimum of four years to complete a program devised into 8-semesters according to the curriculum of CBCS (choice-based credit system). Intermediate passed candidates can apply for these programs. Undergraduate programmes are Btech and Bsc in several specializations. 
• Postgraduate Programmes- University provides Master in Science in various agricultural specializations in Plant Breeding, Plant pathology, Agricultural Chemistry, Agrotomy, Genetics, Economic Agriculture, Seed Science and Technology. Minimum duration of the program is 2-years and maximum 4 years. Syllabus is designed according to the CBCS curriculum. Graduation passed candidates can pursue this program.

CSKHPKV Admission 2026-27 Undergraduate

CSKHPKV Admission Registration process for UG programmes will start soon for the January academic session at Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya. It is mandatory to fulfil minimum qualifications  before applying for BSc, BCom, BLIS etc. Students need to have to pass 10+2 with 50% minimum aggregate marks from any recognized boards.

Candidates who belong to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribs, Economically Weaker section have 5% relaxation in aggregate marks. Admission criteria based on entrance exam as well as merit of candidates. University conduct their own entrance exam ICAR AIEEA for BTech, BSc in Artificial Intelligence etc. CSKHPKV Admission registration fee needs to be paid at the time of admission Rs 1200/- which is non-refundable.

CSKHPKV Admission 2026-27 Postgraduate

CSKHPKV Admission registration process will start soon for January 2026 academic session. Interested candidates can enroll in master degrees with specializations in various subjects. To get admission in postgraduate programmes need to complete a minimum three-year undergraduate degree from any recognised university.

Minimum 50% aggregate marks are required for general/OBC/EWS category students. Reserved category students have the opportunity to take admission at 40% marks obtained in university examinations. Admission procedure is fully online, students can apply through the CSKHPKV official website. 

CSKHPKV Admission registration fee is Rs 1500/- for the general category, and for the reserved category Rs 500/- 

CSKHPKV Admission Fee Structure

The objective is to provide an affordable fee for candidates who have qualified for all eligibility criteria can pursue program with minimum fee course fee structure designed by the university. It provides flexibility in their course fee for all candidates who belong to economically backward classes. Now every student can continue their higher education with a low tuition fee. Below is the table of courses and their respective admission fees at Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya (CSKHPKV).

• Examination Fee- Rs 700/- per semester

CSKHPKV Admission Process 2026-27

Individuals seeking admission can enroll in program online though the official website. Before registration read the prospectus carefully and apply with required information and scanned documents.

Follow the given instructions carefully- 

• Step 1. Visit the official website www.hillagric.ac.in/  if you are new student then click on “New-Registration” and fill registration form with detailed information Student Name, Mobile number, Email Address and Aadhar number. 
• Step 2. Create your login Id- Password and Username. 
• Step 3. Login on the official admission page, fill application form, enter your personal, educational,contact details carefully. 
• Step 4. Upload scanned copy of necessary documents such as Marksheet, Photo, Signature, Aadhar card etc. Pay application fee and course fee using the secure ‘online payment gateway’ (UPI, Debit card,Credit Card etc.). 
• Step 5. Re-check and review the details entered in application form carefully. Once verified, submit your application and confirm admission.
• Step 6. After submission, you will receive a confirmation letter by mail. Download the application receipt and receipt of acknowledgement.
